Chanchen: Modern Mayan Village
In our first month here in Mexico we met an amazing woman named Yara, who told us the fascinating story of her project, an ankle accessory called Mayan Ook. Events: Eivan’s Birthday Party
This party was every kid’s dream: sunny day, swimming pool, Sponge Bob trampoline, lots of friends, great snacks, Spiderman piñata and Spiderman cake… This birthday party was also a photographer’s dream: when kids are busy having fun, it’s a great place to catch some amazing shots that are much harder to get without the genuine fun. Family: Betzabhe & Anthony

Stella is from Argentina, as is her newlywed husband Andres, but they moved here to Rivera Maya and are enjoying their connection to Mexico. I’ll be sharing their wedding photos here soon as well.

Sofia & Emiliano
This was a wonderful shoot! The idea arose spontaneously, the same day, and we didn’t have a lot of time, but we did explore a few side-streets off Playa del Carmen’s Fifth Avenue and had a great deal of fun!
