Mayan Ook Catalogue
These are images I shot for the Mayan Ook project, the cool fair trade ankle accessory made by Mayan women on the Yucatan peninsula, which I talked about in this post. We had a wonderful location and a great day in Quintana Roo with three local girls who were not professional models, yet did a great job following my instructions, sitting in uncomfortable poses for as long as was necessary, soaking in chilly cenote water and changing their looks very rapidly, from beach to casual to dressing up, demonstrating various outfits that Mayan Ook looks good with. › Continue reading

Probably best I’ve ever seen, and it’s almost tough to photograph them – those who didn’t see the color of the water for themselves will think it’s photoshop! › Continue reading
